Charity, like the notions of volunteerism and philanthropy, provides real social bonding and contributes to the creation of inclusive and more resilient societies. Charity can alleviate the worst effects of humanitarian crisis, supplement public services in health care, education, housing and child protection. It assists the advancement of culture, science, sports, and the protection of cultural and natural heritage. It also promotes the rights of underprivileged and spreads the message of humanity in conflict situations. With this strong message, years 5 and 6 celebrated the International charity day by creating a poem , sharing their act of charity that they have initiated and public speaking. Students enjoyed and cherished each of the activities to enrich their learning. Year 5& 6, young and dynamic students finally joined school and attended their first day with excitement. The children were greeted by their form tutors followed by self- introduction, sharing school polices and rules and expectation during face to face lessons. Protocols to keep themselves safe were shared with all the students. They were also welcomed by SLT’s, HODS , HOKS through Webinars and pre-recorded sessions. The day also had in store, PE , STREAM and Music lessons which were thoroughly enjoyed by the students with great zeal. In general it was a funfilled day as it was wonderfull to see students back after the summer break.
