Students of year 5 were given an exciting opportunity to showcase their physical ability and agility through various sports activities on Primary Sports day. Various activities included were: relay race, target shooting, obstacle race, sack-race and 100 meter race. The event was started promptly at 8.30 with a march past by year 5 students in the Astro Turf. Stream of parents cheered and supported the energetic students. It was delightful to see students of year 5, put up a lively drill with pompoms after the march past. The performance stunned the audience. In addition to the march past and drill, the event was declared open with a speech from Ms Rakhi Pande, the Head of English. Students of year 5 swiftly moved to the respective allotted event stations assisted by their form tutors and P.E. teachers. It concluded with a prize distribution and enthusiastic cheering by the students for their respective houses. Earth house came out victorious with children gathered in cheerful team spirit. Overall it was a successful display of healthy competitive spirit.

Children of year 5, had a jubilating experience of watching the play- Galileo. This theatrical performance gave them an insight of how plot is developed, sequenced into a complete story. They had an opportunity to witness an interactive story telling session with the characters themselves as a part of the play. After the play, children were engaged in various fun-filled activities related to the same during the English lessons too.
