The country is celebrating the occasion, under the theme of 'right to play’ to raise the awareness of community members on the importance of play for children. Along with the UAE, year 5 & 6 students through various activities celebrated the Emirati Children’s Day on March 15th. Talent show to showcase their skills, creating jingles or advertisement to promote the well-being of our students was conducted. In addition to year 5, year 6 students were involved in writing letter to HH Sheikh Mohammad expressing their gratitude and vision about the future of the UAE. Through , public speaking young Emirati poets and writers were appreciated.

Year 5 students explored the various features of Rain Forests and learnt how important rain forests are for the existence of mankind, through the Virtual Tour conducted by the Green Planet on Wednesday, 10th March. Students were thrilled when the experts showed a few animals live such as geckos and Pythons. The trainers provided Q& A session which helped the students to clear their doubts about a few rain forest animals. Year 5 students definitely had a very enriching session on ‘Rain Forest’’ through this virtual Tour.
Year 5 E’s class assembly was conducted on 3rd March 2021. The students reinforced the importance of safety in cyberspace through a scene-by-scene skit and a cool theme song, in which their siblings also participated. Ms. Maricarl Formilezza (Charley’s mother) and Mr. Emad Rahall (Laith’s father) gave our learners wise and insightful advices on cyber safety. The assembly was attended by 5A, 5C, 5G, 5I and 5J and was concluded by a salutation from Ms. Jeeva Rajan (AHOY, Year 5).
