SEWA is a universal concept, which involves performing an act of kindness without expectation of reward. It is performed selflessly and without ulterior motive. Year 5 &6 students were encouraged to come up with ideas to perform SEWA and experience the true joy of giving. It enhanced their ability to think about others, to be empathetic, relieve hardship and poverty, help the environment and bring a little joy to those who have little. Students created thank you cards for the people who help them. They also made creative origami art work and shared with conductors, cleaners and canteen helpers.
