Year 5 students honoured the flag and celebrated flag day with tremendous passion. Flag Day is an occasion to commemorate the national identity and legacy of the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the national flag's significance as a symbol of the nation's goals and unity. Students discussed the significance of Flag Day in groups and looked into the meaning of the colours in the UAE flag. Year 5C Emirati student Ahmed Linjawy gave a speech on the significance of UAE Flag Day. He explained the design of the national flag and how it symbolises the Arab unification. To commemorate the day, posters highlighting the significance of Flag Day were created.

Sports Day in Year 5 was a unifying event that promoted collaboration, physical growth, and a sense of community. The Winchester PE department was in charge of organising the event. It included a variety of activities, and the presence of parents boosted the young athletes' enthusiasm and excitement. In addition to being enjoyable, this trip provided priceless chances for social and personal growth. The occasion was a huge success.
