International Women’s Day, observed on March 8th this year, by the students of Year 5 and 6 was a vibrant and enlightening event. The day was dedicated to honouring the achievements of women worldwide and inspiring young minds to become advocates for positive change. Students watched a captivating video showcasing remarkable achievements of women across the globe in various fields such as science, arts, sports and activism. Engaging discussions took place where students shared their thoughts on influential women who have made a difference in the world. They pondered on the ways they can contribute to make the world a better place for women. Students expressed gratitude towards the women in their lives by designing thoughtful cards. These cards were meant to thank the women who have played significant roles, whether as mothers, sisters, friends, bus nannies, support staff at school, or domestic help.
