On Zero Discrimination Day, 1st March, at Winchester, we celebrated the right of everyone to live a full and productive life—and live it with dignity. Zero Discrimination Day highlights how people can become informed about and promote inclusion, compassion, peace and, above all, a movement for change. Year 5& 6 Students, parents and teachers came together to discuss the urgent need to act to end the inequalities surrounding income, age, health status, occupation, disability, gender, race, class, ethnicity and religion that continue to persist around the world. On the Zero Discrimination Day, Year 5 & 6 students took their own pledges to stand against the society and laws that discriminates people on the basis of very minute altercation.
